Silvertel has developed a series of specialist DC-DC Boost and Buck Converter Modules, including isolation, to meet the requirements of IEEE802.3af, IEEE802.3at and IEEE802.3bt standards. Each perfectly complements our range of PSE Modules by boosting or stepping down voltages to the levels required to transmit over the Ethernet cable. Silvertel’s DC-DC Converter Modules provide a seamless and easy to integrate solution offering rapid time to market.

Battery Chargers
Silvertel’s intelligent and eco-friendly battery charge controller modules maximise rechargeable battery life, while cutting maintenance costs and slashing power consumption. They are extremely useful for reducing overall system maintenance and battery replacement life cycle costs. The modules offer a wide DC input voltage range and a high efficiency DC to DC converter. Charging voltage is controlled to a high accuracy, independent of temperature variations. Optimised and programmable charging profiles are used to ensure battery longevity. Our modules are designed for use with Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries and for charging SLA solar batteries using a Solar Panel power source.

DC-DC Converter Evaluation Boards
EvalAg7x61
This is Silvertel’s new EVAL board to cover both the Ag7100 DC-DC converter and it’s complementary and frequently associated Ag6100 PSE module.
It is designed to allow simple and combined or separate testing and evaluation of both Silvertel’s Ag6100 POE PSE module as well as the Ag7100 DC-DC Boost converter. With either 12V or 24V nominal DC input, the output of the Ag7100 is linked on the Eval board directly to the input of the Ag6100 as it would be if being used to design a PSE power circuit. It is designed to provide a complete Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) functional power block, when fitted with both modules, providing up to 40W of PSE output power onto the CAT5/6 cable as an output at either 48V or 57V.
EvalAg7010
The EvalAg7010 is designed to allow simple testing and evaluation of Silvertel’s Ag7010 DC-DC converter. With either DC input or power provided via USBC port.
EvalAg7300
EvalAg7300 are intended for testing and evaluation of the Ag7300 DC-DC converter modules. Ag7300 provides a regulated 55V DC output.
