AG5500-FE-webAg5500-FE is a very small SIL module that provides the necessary signatures and classification back to a PSE/POE switch to initiate POE power output to the remote PD device. The module confirms POE signature and class to a PSE and simply passes the unregulated DC input to a single output, with no DC/DC conversion to optimise system efficiency. This can be used in both POE LED lighting applications, e.g. with an Ag201 or in POE repeater applications, as outlined in the two block diagrams below.
